Open six days a week, the Museum of Contemporary Art in La Jolla has a variety of exhibitions, collections, events, and educational opportunities for young and old alike. The building itself is a piece of art with its distinctive architectural design and spectacular ocean views. With a general admission of $10, military and seniors receive a discounted rate of $5. Those 25 and under enter for free ,and on Thursday evenings from 5-7 pm admission is free to everyone. A complimentary guided tour is also offered on Thursdays at 6 pm as well as on weekends at 2 pm. There is even a museum cafe that is open daily until 3 pm.
