Located on San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf, Ripley's Believe It or Not! Museum covers two floors and includes 11 galleries with over 10,000 square feet of the strange, the unusual, and the unbelievable. Some of the many galleries include Strange People and Odd Animals, Weird and Wacky Art, Tribal Artifacts, The Orient, and Modern Wonders. First introduced to the public in 1933 at the Chicago World's Fair, today many of Ripley's personal treasures can be seen in Believe It or Not! Museums around the world. Each museum has its own unique collection of oddities and strikes a careful balance between the strange, the shocking, and the beautiful.
